Latinas Speak Out Against 62 Print E-mail

In a new web video, clinic worker Jazz Arroyo speaks out against 62 in English and in Spanish. Amendment 62 would threaten basic reproductive health care for Latinas and all Colorado women by banning many commonly used forms of birth control, all emergency contraception (even for victims of rape or incest), and abortion in all cases, even if the health of the woman is at risk or if she is a victim of rape or incest.

Colorado rape survivor Amanda speaks out against Amendment 62 Print E-mail

By giving legal rights to fertilized eggs, Amendment 62 would ban emergency contraception, even for victims of rape or incest. According to Amanda, "Rape survivors have all their power and dignity taken from them during a vicious attack. Allowing women the choice to take emergency contraception is integral to their recovery. We, as voters, need to protect a woman's access to emergency contraceptives and Vote NO on 62."
